The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce wanted to improve the communication and dissemination of it’s activities, conferences, performances, etc.. so they decided to develop a television channel on the web with web 2.0 capabilities. This channel will publish the videos that the cambra owns to the general public: lectures, small stories,…

The Chamber wants to have the option to provide web 2.0 capabilities to this channel to allow users to rate, comment, tag,… the videos and use the information entered by other users of the web.

It has also implemented a video subtitling tool that allows to subtitle small videos without specialized tools.

The entire platform is exploited on the web (Internet / Extranet) and has been developed in Java platform, Liferay portal and Adobe streaming server. The development has been carried out in collaboration with a company that is expert in media, communication and design.
