In collaboration with a communication and design company, Agilogy developed a tool available on the Internet for the evaluation of the professional skills of entrepreneurs.

This tool is based on a fully multimedia interface where the user conducts a survey based on a video presentation. After each video, the user has to choose the response according to what he would do in each situation. From the responses collected, the tool applies an algorithm designed by human resources experts to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the respondent as an entrepreneur.

The platform used for this application was Java, MySQL as the database and a Flash player for videos.

The application is in production in the website of our client, but has also been distributed to other European public institutions. These organisms need to customize available languages, as well as the authentication mechanism to be used by users. This has led to a personalized installation mechanism.

About authentication, application has it’s own authentication method storing users and credentials in the database but also supports LDAP authentication, and authentication against a Web Service. This was achieved through a modular architecture that allows to develop new authentication plugins as needed.
